		10th Jan	Met relatives in Bazaar Gate street, it was here that Swami Anand first met Gandhi. Reception by Mulji Ashram (theatre) 'Buddha Deva' was being staged by his troupe. Addressed by National Union (Hira Baug) which was presided by B. G. Tilak.
		11th Jan	Meeting at Ghatkopar. Received Golden manacles as a gift.
		12th Jan	Met Dadabhai Navroji and Dr. Dadi Burjorji. (Dr. Burjorji had attended Gandhi in Durban, South Africa wshen he was attacked by whites.) Attended party full of pomp and grandeur, hosted by the Petits. details.....

		5th Feb.	Met Governor and discussed situation in Khaira district. Wrote to Governor, being not satisfied with Governor's reply.
		20th Feb.	Gandhiji presided over annual gathering of Bhagini Samaj in Bombay, spoke on women’s education. details..... Returned to Nadiad.
April	13, 23	13th April	Met Revenue Member Sir Carmichael Du Bouley. Interview lasted for one and half hour and then saw Chandavarkar regarding Khaira affairs. Delivered lecture on Khaira affairs at Shantaram's Chawl which was presided by Vithalbhai Patel.
		23rd April	Attended meeting of Beggar-nuisance Committee. Spoke on Khaira Satyagraha at Shantaram's Chawl. Tilak also gave a speech.
		24th April	Bapu saw Abdul Bari in Mani Bhavan. Jamnadas came to visit him in the afternoon. Left for Delhi at 4.30 pm.
May	3-4, 7	3rd May	Called on Mrs. Annie Besant. Attended meeting of Congress Committee.
		7th May	Arrived and Left for Nadiad.
June	9-11, 15, 16	10th June	Attended Provincial War Conference at Town Hall. Governor did not allow Tilak, Kelkar etc. to express their views. They left meeting. Jinnah protested. Both he and Gandhi left meeting.

		6th April	Meeting on Chowpatty sands and sold banned literature (Hind Swaraj and Sarvodaya). Joined procession to Madhav Baug for prayers. Arrived bare headed and bare footed for Women's meeting at China Baug. Met Police Commissioner. Spoke against Rowlatt Acts at a public meeting at French Bridge, which was also presided by M. A. 		11th April	(Gandhi was arrested on 9th April at Kosi Kalan en route to Delhi for disobeying Government order, he was brought back to Bombay) Reached at 1.00 pm and was released. details..... March	1-6, 16-20	3rd March	Attended High Court to answer charge of contempt of Court. (On 23rd Dec.1919, a notice was issued by Bombay High Court asking Gandhi why he should not be prosecuted for contempt of Court.) (Gandhi had written 'Shaking Civil Resistors'.)

July	1-3, 5, 7-14, 29-31	7th July	Spoke on Hunter Committee Report at a meeting of Gujarati Stree Mandal. Proposed Sir Narayan Chandavarkar to preside (Town Hall) to protest against recommendations of Meston Committee regarding finances of Bombay.
		13th July	Spoke at public meeting about grievances of Indians in other parts of British Empire.
		29th July	Saw Tilak on his sick bed. Addressed Muslims at Muzaffarabad Hall and advised them to remain non-violent.
August	1-3, 7, 9-10, 25, 31	1st August	Joined funeral procession and attended cremation of Tilak. (He died in Bombay after midnight of 31st July.) Spoke at the condolence meeting.
		2nd August	Returned to Government three medals, (1) Boer Wall, (2) Zulu Rebellion and (3) Kaiser-i-Hind.
		31st August	Students of Grant Medical College signed Khadi pledge. Gandhi also took pledge to wear Khadi for life. During this month Dilip Kumar Roy met Romain Rolland and spoke to him about Gandhi.
