[As Rajkot was her hometown, Kasturba felt impelled to join the Rajkot  satyagraha , to protest against the breach of faith by Thakore Saheb of Rajkot . She was arrested and put under detention. Gandhiji was in Segaon. He wrote to her everyday, showering  tender care and encouraging her .  Few of these letters are attached here.[

I have your letter. You have now become a State guest. Take care of your health. I am not worried since Mani is with you. I must have letters. I shall bear your point in mind.
