I have gone through the list of Gandhiji's favourite hymns but did not find one which I have learnt was so very dear that it used to make his eyes wet.  We as a nation draw back our National Flag on this hymn at fall of daylight. It is called "ABIDE WITH ME".  It is one hymn that makes one understand to be the lowliest of lowliest.

The website will give enlightenment to the people who are interested in knowing Mr. Gandhi's journey in this life. His faith proves for himself that this life is just a temporary, a trial and a test of how faithful we up to our extremist pressure in our life. Up to the last dying breath of Gandhi, he still manage to demonstrate to the people around him how faithful he is to God by dying with a smile in his face. He is a victor in his own view, and to peace lover like me.

I felt very humble when I came her./ When I saw the Mahatma's bedroom I truly realized how simply he lived. I learned that even the president and former presidents of India feel humble when they visit. This institute as do a lot of dignitaries. This institution must be kept alive so that everyone learns the Great Soul's message of nonviolence forever. This place is an invaluable library of Gandhian Thought and Knowledge for those who need it for a project, a thesis or to live their lives better.

I like India & Indians, Gandhi is the right person who takes leadership to get independence to India. In 1857, we started a War for Independence and succeeded in 1947 under dynamic leadership of M K Gandhi. Today, every Indian is happy with their families and enjoying the independence after sacrifice of lacs of people in independence war. However, another Gandhi is required to stop violence, corruption, Untouchability and more...
Gandhi is a dynamic man, every Indian should feel great that we the members of Gandhi family.

It is wonderful web site ,specially not many people knows about Mani Bhuvan, I think Mani Bhuvan was belong to Dr Pranjivan. Jagjivan Mehta he was elder brother of Revashankar bhai whom you have mention.

Also it is better you need to re photograph in higher or larger format and should be at least 4X 6 to see well.

I recently visited Mumbai and regret to say that I had very little time to see Mumbai in any depth.  I was fortunate to visit Mani Bhavan but was largely ignorant about Ghandi. I left having been, and still am, deeply affected by my visit.  This excellent website is a marvelous resource. Thank you.

It was a very nice experience to visit Mani Bhavan Gandhi Sangrahalaya. I had the opportunity to know many more things about Gandhiji. Seeing the things used by Gandhiji, it is revealed that Gandhiji was a man of simple living and high thinking. I am proud to have visited Mani Bhavan Gandhi Sangrahalaya. JAI HIND! JAI GANDHIJI!

During the month of September 2003 I emailed the Mani Bhavan Gandhi Sangrahalaya website for the sources of several quotations by Mohandas K. Gandhi. I received timely responses to my requests for information. The Mani Bhavan Gandhi Sangrahalaya website is a valuable resource for information on Mohandas K. Gandhi and for responding to specific requests on information about Gandhi.

It is really good work. 1. You start making members who want to know about Gandhiji or believe in his philosophy. 2. regularly mail of detail speech or research paper to those people who want to know about Gandhiji.

A truly wonderful and remarkable site to have found. I thank you for the work which you do.  I have one correction to point out, though a significant one and a couple of questions: Under Quotations a correction is needed, it is only one letter, but......#T-5-271"My whole soul rebels (currently reVels) against the idea that Hinduism and Islam represent two antagonistic cultures and doctrines". I am an artist who works with audio, interviews and such, and am looking for cassettes or preferably CDs, though cassettes are better than none. I live in the United States, could you let me know where I might be able to listen to speeches Mahatma Gandhi has made, which are available and/or where I might go for copyright restrictions on the use of any such material. I do not know if there is material from the period he was in South Africa, amongst other material, but all and any spoken words - spoken by him, having to do with conflict resolution and tolerance, this is the material that I seek. I would greatly appreciate any help that your Center and organisation might be able to give me.  I recently spent a month at the British Library Sound Archives in London doing research (with the help of a small grant) and found but one audio speech, which I found both surprising and very sad. With many thanks, for whatever assistance you might be able to offer. francisca (de Beurges Rosenthal)

I visited the Museum and really enjoyed my visit. I was particularly struck by the artistry as well as the ed. value of the dioramas illustrating scenes from Gandhi's life. I was hoping to purchase a book or cards reproducing the dioramas,& info on the artist, but  you don't have any in your sales area. If you ever have such a book or cards, please let me know. And put some on the website.

Values are and can never be bad. Those which are good are always relevant. When you say Gandhian values, one should know what values are being referred to as each moment of Gandhiji's life had something to teach us about. Gandhi preached and practised nonviolence, truth, peace, love and brotherhood. And to think of that it was decades ago. Now look at the situation around. There is hatred, selfishness, bloodshed everywhere. People are dying of no reason. Innocent children are killed even before knowing the meaning of death. Just think how better this world would have been had it followed the Gandhian principles of love and brotherhood. Gandhiji always maintained that violence will bring no fruits. In today's world of nuclear arms, isn't his thoughts apt? The world have tried using violent means to succeed and failed miserably. So, let us try the Mahatma's tools. We only have gains, so why not just implement them? Thus the Gandhian values are most relevant and apt today more than ever.
